Bell Mountain Blues Band

We checked this band out at The Fifth Amendment,
Market Street, Scranton. The band is a big one - seven
guys, using four guitars, drums, keyboard and of course, the harmonicas. They have a great sound and songlist. Check
them out the next time they're playing at a club or pub,
you'll love it. Next time we go out to see them, I'll have
a bio and photos, but for now, check out some of the stuff
on the songlist.  You'll be happy to hear the old and not-so-old blues, and a little bit of classic rock thrown in for fun.

WilyGoats

Haven't heard them live, but we  heard their cd,
and it sounds like another trip possibility someday. The
following is a little bit about the band, in the band's words.

The WilyGoats draw from a wide range of styles—from the hard driving Chicago shuffles and boogies of Magic Slim, Little Walter, Muddy Waters, and Hound Dog Taylor. From the crooning soul of Freddy King to the deep Louisiana vamps of Slim Harpo, the driving rock of Chuck Berry and everything in between, and infuse each with a reelin’ and rockin’ heartfelt groove that sends feet stompin’, hands clappin’, and hips shakin’.

Randy Barnett and
The Second Chance Blues Band
Good Timin' Blues, Soul, Originals

I checked out the CD and you'll enjoy hearing
this band. A schedule of local appearances
should be available shortly.
